Your Views

We hold monthly groups for young people in care and care leavers where you have the opportunity to share your views about services and develop policies to improve services in future.

Our Children in Care Groups are also involved in a variety of different projects throughout the year.  The projects give children and young people the chance to shape and influence the parenting that they receive at every level, to have a say about the things that really matter in their lives, and so they can help to shape overall strategies for cared for children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent.

Interviews

Stoke-on-Trent feel it is important for young people to have an input in recruiting the correct people who work with Children and Young People whether that being directly such as residential carers, foster carers, social workers or in a management role like practice managers, principle managers etc.  Transport can be arranged through a bus pass or lifts depending on the circumstances.  There are many opportunities to be part of these interviews and we offer gift vouchers to say thank you for your time.
